Criteria for Induction in the National Capital Public Relations Hall of Fame:
- Thirty or more years of distinguished accomplishments in the public relations or public affairs profession
- Can be actively employed or retired
- Demonstration as a visionary leader within the communications industry
- Demonstrated dedication to the profession and other professionals
- Made a significant positive impact on the communications industry, with particular impact in the DC communications community through mentoring or through other means of giving back to the industry
- Has by example, inspired the next generation of public relations or public affairs professionals to excel
- Worked in the Washington, DC area for at least ten years
