Whether you call it a part-time job or a side hustle, having a gig you can complete in hours outside of your full-time job has many benefits. Not only is it a great source of additional income, but a side hustle can be the right path to growing your own company. According to Adam Grant, Wharton organizational psychologist and author of the #1 New York Times Best Seller, Originals, many of our iconic and innovative companies started as side hustles. According to Grant, the founders of companies such as Apple and Warby Parker continued to work their full-time day jobs for several years before eventually devoting themselves 100 percent to their startup side hustles.
There are several options for you to generate extra income on the side. You can create a virtual company and perform your side hustle without leaving the comfort of your own home, or you can create a business with in-person operations and a robust online component. In this professional development webinar, hear from three entrepreneurs who successfully launched and grew their good ideas into side hustles and eventually into thriving businesses. Hear them explain their journeys, the challenges they faced, and tips for how you can begin your own side hustle.
Speakers will answer the following questions:
- How do I go about choosing a side hustle?
- How do you turn an online side hustle into a business that makes money and is sustainable?
- What investments are needed to create a revenue-generating side hustle?
