About Casey
Casey Mank is the Co-Founder of Bold Type, a women-owned, DC-based training firm that helps professionals communicate in writing with greater confidence and clarity. After 10 years in university writing centers and traditional classrooms, Casey now designs workshops and coaching programs for professionals from Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, and government agencies. She has worked with writers from organizations including Kellogg, Boeing, Viacom Media, Sephora, MasterCard, the EPA Office of the Inspector General, and the US Special Forces. She completed her master’s in English at Georgetown University and teaches writing at Georgetown’s School of Nursing and Health Studies. Casey is also a member of the nonprofit Center for Plain Language, helping government agencies and other organizations to communicate clearly with their stakeholders.
