Dear Colleagues,

Have you ever thought about joining the PRSA-NCC leadership team? If not, you should.

Each fall, members of our chapter vote for more than a dozen board members and delegates to lead our chapter and represent us at the national Leadership Assembly. PRSA-NCC board members have an unparalleled opportunity to drive innovation within our industry, shape the member experience, grow their professional networks, and further develop their leadership abilities. Each of you has a valuable contribution to make!

We’ll issue a call for nominations for the 2020 board in early August; members interested in running for a seat should submit their applications by no later than September 6. Voting will open on October 1 and end on October 21. Please contact immediate past president Sabrina Kidwai with any questions about the process or about board service more generally.

If you’re interested in joining the board, but now isn’t the right time for you, never fear! We are also looking for committee co-chairs and active, engaged committee members. If you’d like to become more involved with one of our 17 committees, I encourage you to contact the committee chair directly. Alternatively, please reach out to me and I’d be more than happy to make suggestions or introductions. Membership co-chairs Kristin Gregory and Jenna Gregory are also standing by to help.
