The Public Relations Society of America’s National Capital Chapter (PRSA NCC) — the largest chapter in the country — is now accepting nominations for its 2026 Board of Directors. This is your opportunity to elevate your leadership, expand your influence, and help drive the future of our profession.
As a board member, you will:
- Help shape the vision and strategy of a nationally recognized PRSA chapter
- Curate and guide programming for premier industry events
- Gain valuable board-level experience to boost your career
- Expand your network with top PR leaders in the region
- Strengthen your personal and professional brand through service and visibility

We are seeking candidates for the following positions on the 2026 PRSA NCC Board of Directors (full position descriptions can be found here):
- President‐elect
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- One‐year vice president
- One‐year directors (three positions open)
Ideal candidates will:
- Actively serve on at least one PRSA NCC committee
- Help plan at least one chapter event
- Introduce a potential sponsor to chapter leadership
- Attend professional development workshops and networking events throughout the year
- Champion ethics and DEI and advocate for the value of NCC in your networks
Candidates will be expected to:
- Attend monthly board meetings
- Serve on a PRSA NCC Committee
- Attend monthly committee meetings
